We are thrilled to announce that our very own Coach PK will be honored with the Curt Condon Spirit Award by the Southern California Tennis Association! This prestigious award celebrates individuals who not only have a profound love for the game but also passionately inspire and share that love with others. The award is named in honor of Curt Condon, a native of Glendale who played tennis at Long Beach State University, where he was named most inspirational athlete for 1974-75. He was a tennis teaching pro for 35 years and served as director of tennis at El Camino Country Club in Oceanside. The Curt Condon Spirit Award represents a great love of the game, and more importantly, the willingness to pass that passion on to others. Coach PK's dedication to fostering a love for tennis in our community embodies the very essence of this award. His positive energy, patience, and generosity have inspired players of all ages and levels. As one parent shared, "PK is a positive, energetic, patient, kind and generous coach who teaches tennis expertly while making it fun."
