We’re proud to launch our newest safehouse, the I AM Healing House, a critical emergency rescue home offering a safe, supportive environment for survivors in their first 3 to 5 days of recovery. This space is a lifeline, providing immediate shelter, care, and access to resources at one of the most vulnerable moments in their journey. Grateful for our continued partnership with the East Palo Alto Police Department! This week, we had the privilege of providing ongoing education to their staff on critical topics related to human trafficking in San Mateo County. We discussed red flags, shared insights into both sex and labor trafficking, and emphasized trauma-informed responses to support those affected.
