As I prepare for the NHRMA conference, I’ve been reflecting on the power of vulnerability in leadership. So often, we think of leadership as needing to be strong, confident, and all-knowing, but true courage comes from being open and real with our teams. Vulnerability builds trust, creates deep connection, and allows us to grow together. When leaders show up as their full selves—flaws, fears, and all—it opens the door for others to do the same.
