The primary commitment for Love Without Borders is to support Upendo Home (Upendo means love in Swahili) alongside our Kenyan leaders and Guardian family as we raise up seven former street boys in an impoverished area of Kenya to be changemakers for their communities. We have expanded our mission to include our Kenyan women in #leadership, girls and the #nextgeneration at Upendo Home. Our work amplifies our core values and engages our supporters through philanthropy and volunteerism to change the lives of these boys and their guardian family. We’re so proud of our leadership team in Kenya. These amazing individuals run our day-to-day program and home in Kenya Pictured here is Enoch, our Program Director, Ruth, our Upendo Home coordinator, Patrick and Rose, our Upendo Home guardian parents…all of the youth (and even two toddlers!) in our beloved family. The US-based mission team will be partnering with our Kenyan-based mission team as we partner with Holding Hands Ministry. Stay tuned for more!

In just a little over two weeks, a team of seven will be joining us to return to Kenya. This will be our first trip back since 2022, and we are very excited. The team will be working alongside the Upendo Boys and family to serve and give back to the community. It's incredible to see the Upendo Boys, now young men, leading service initiatives. We'll be running a VBS for 200 children, teen workshops, and supporting single moms. ?? We're aiming to raise $1200 for new bunk beds and $750 for crucial medical checkups.
