Your favorite non-social agency just won 2 Gold Muse Creative Awards for Social Media Redesign and Social Media Finance Category. We are super humbled, proud and grateful. Proud of our insanely talented and cool team for non-linear thinking, experimentation and passion - Maria Fernanda Soria Raffi Torres Lizzy Sonenfeld Kelsey Wilkins Ashton Wells Justin Micklish Amine el Filali Christina Tartaro Esther DeLaura Kimberly Boelk Taylor Slyder And grateful for clients like Lisa Mulas who trust in us and fought to provide us a long leash for experimentation. Truth be told, we initially said no to a social retainer with Western Union because it felt narrow and not really the work we wanted to focus our energy on. But we saw the opportunity to do different - integrate social into brand building and give a fresh, real voice to the immigrant audiences the brand represents. ?? ??

What's our elevator pitch? ??
“What’s your focus?” What does Love Street & Company specialize in? Social? Digital? Identity? It was one of the first questions we were asked when starting out. We need an elevator pitch, right? How can a brand hire us if they can’t fit us in a box? 3 years in, we’re still circling around that question. We’re a brand consultancy. We’re a creative strategy studio with a strong design focus. We’re a brand strategy and identity studio. We’re digital marketing agency, oh and social. In just 3 years, we’ve damn near done it all - and pretty well I must admit. 9 years ago I was helping run the Nike biz at AKQA - a self-styled and famous digital shop. But some of our most famous and interesting work wasn’t explicitly digital. It was social, it was retail, it was campaign……hell, Ben Taylor even dreamed up what could have been one of the most creative and badass SEM campaigns that could have ever existed. The work was great. It was many things. It worked - we got results, won awards, had happy clients, happy teams. That's the energy we bring at Love Street & Company. We’re a group of people with diverse backgrounds and deep passions for staying on the bleeding edge and doing the never-been-done-before. We obsess the business, the audience. We dive deep into where culture is and what aspects of culture we should be tapping into. We think about the dynamic medium mix and how your brand can turn the head of your audience where they are spending time. We design for these things and evolve along the way with our partners. It’s a tough elevator pitch. Fair. Maybe I just prefer the stairs. ??♀???

Characters. They’re what make you love - and cringe - The White Lotus, and they’re essential for developing a story that really grabs you. We obsessed character development for our last campaign with Western Union - "Send It Their Way", detailing the backstories, idiosyncrasies and preferences of our main characters - the receivers of essential remittances sent from loved ones abroad. The weirder the better - Aunt Tina’s bedazzled Bingo equipment, brother Vikram’s sleeveless sweater and our tiny, furry referee made these stories really shine. Shout out to our cultural consultants from around the world who meticulously sourced, propped and styled our quirky relatives from India, the Philippines and Mexico. Introducing Lizzy Sonenfeld as our official ECD and Partner! Since we began, we’ve had the immense pleasure (and luck), to work side-by-side with the absolutely badass creative and design leader, Lizzy Sonenfeld,on many projects including the Western Union rebrand, Tone identity creation and so much more. Moving into 2025, we’re honored and thrilled to announce that she has officially joined our team at Love Street & Co. as Executive Creative Director and Partner. A quick click to her profile on LinkedIn speaks to the wealth of experience, expertise and creative leadership Lizzy has brought and will continue to bring to our team. But if you’ve worked with Lizzy, you know it’s so much more. Her ability to think strategically, lead with empathy, and execute flawlessly has been a masterclass for us all. We’re beyond excited with the addition of Lizzy, evolving Love Street & Co. into the design-forward organization that we envisioned from day 1. Please join us in welcoming Lizzy to the Love Street & Co. familia! #CreativeLeadership #Collaboration #Partnership #AgencyNews #muchlove #AgencyBiz

This post has us teary-eyed. Like Maria Fernanda Soria, we really do love making gringo influencers speak Spanish (especially given that a few of us are gringos stumbling through the Spanish language on the daily). But more importantly, we love working with such talented, interesting and passionate people like her. People who are not only voices of our multi-cultural and diverse world, but lend that voice to platform others. We are so very lucky to do the work we do, with the people we do. ?? ?? ??

I also love when I can make gringo influencers speak Spanish! ?? Thanks to Love Street & Company for giving diverse multicultural creatives a space to play and make cool stuff. ?Vamos por más! #hispanicheritagemonth #multiculturalcreative #bilingualcopywriter
