We know the ways that feedback goes wrong… …there's not enough of it …it feels like a punishment and people dread it …we are afraid of being biased when we deliver it …we ARE biased when we deliver it And on and on. For most organizations feedback is a "bug" in their system. And bugs need to be fixed for proper functioning. Especially in today's workplaces--that require experimentation and innovation--productive and timely feedback has never been more important to personal and business performance. We are excited to be joining the esteemed Culturati Summit community, along with culture maven, Carol Shen, and feedback guru, Brodie Riordan, PhD, PCC, on July 24th to look at how to instill feedback cultures that are supportive and connected; so that even the hybrid workplace can be a locus of purpose-driven professional and personal growth. Register for the free event below!
Feedback as a tool for connection, growth and engagement. Join us for our next Culturati: LIVE on Wednesday, July 24th from 12 - 1 PM CST. "Developmental Feedback: Your secret weapon to create a connected, high growth culture," featuring?Carol Shen (Founder of Start Culture Shift),?Mara Gerstein (Co-Founder and CEO of Loupe),?Brodie Riordan, PhD, PCC (Author of Feedback Fundamentals and Evidence-Based Best Practices) and?Rae Cohen Bernamoff (Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Loupe). There is an increasing amount of data coming out that in this new hybrid work environment, people are more disengaged and stressed than ever. So how do we create work cultures where people feel more connected and engaged? A targeted solution centers on embracing feedback for development. In this panel discussion, we will explore what feedback for development is (and what it isn’t) and discuss how organizations can reframe feedback as a tool for connection and growth. We’ll delve into feedback skills, development frameworks, and applications of AI that lay the foundation for psychologically safe, high growth environments. By being laser focused on supporting feedback communication skills, leaders and teams can accelerate their personal growth, unlock team potential and create sustainable team connections to flourish in a hybrid world. #CulturatiLIVE #DevelopmentalFeedback #LeadershipDevelopment #AI #PersonalGrowth

?? ?? DID YOU KNOW??? ??: Only 1/3 of employees report getting the feedback they need to develop on the job. Why? 1. Feedback for evaluation can’t be used for employee development (i.e performance management tools alone don't support good feedback culture). Purpose-driven, connection-building, burnout-busting feedback for development must be elevated to the status it deserves as a primary driver of both employee well-being AND performance and business outcomes. 2. Change is hard. Implementing new tools and norms for developmental feedback exchange requires strong, committed, and empowered leaders willing to allocate precious time and resources. Hard, but doable. Loupe CEO and Co-founder, Mara Gerstein, collaborated with talent luminary, Mary Slaughter to shine a spotlight on what we still get wrong about feedback and how to bring the right kind into our workplaces. Thank you Reworked for the opportunity to share our perspective. https://lnkd.in/eH5AADSt
