Through computer-generated telephone calls, all registered persons will be contacted at a predetermined number when an inmate is scheduled for release or if an inmate escapes from custody. KRS 532.020 outlines 4 classes of felony charges, with different punishment ranges: -Class A Felony – 20-50 years, or life (murder, rape, arson, etc.) -Class B Felony- 10-20 years (Manslaughter 1st, Assault 1st, Burglary 1st, etc.)? -Class C Felony- 5-10 years (Assault 2nd, trafficking in cocaine, Burglary 2nd, etc.)? -Class D Felony- 1-5 years (Wanton Endangerment 1st, DUI 4th, Flagrant Non-support, etc.) Gerina D. Jones was the first Black woman in Kentucky to pass the bar, and was Louisville’s first female city attorney. Sadly, her life and career were cut short 60 years ago, and her killing remains unsolved.
