This Black History Month, we remember the life and legacy of Alberta O. Jones. A trailblazing icon, Alberta O. Jones was the first Black woman in Kentucky to pass the bar, and was Louisville’s first female city attorney. Sadly, her life and career were cut short 60 years ago, and her killing remains unsolved.
