Waterfront Park is a non-profit 85 acre public park on the Ohio River in downtown Louisville. The park is independently operated and maintained. The park hosts 2.2 million visitors and over 150 events annually generating over $40 million in economic impact. Included in the 85 acres are The Big Four Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge, two playgrounds, a splash park, the Lincoln Memorial, the Great Lawn, two boat docks for recreational docking, the Wharf, which accommodates transient river cruise lines, the Brown-Forman Amphitheater, several miles of walking paths, a Community Rowing Center, The UL Women's Rowing Center, multiple picnic areas and quiet contemplative places to peacefully enjoy the river.
