Mark your calendars! ?? LPCA has multiple events on the horizon: April 9th & 10th, join our Health Information Technology division for the Health Center Controlled Network Spring Learning Session. Hear from expert speakers and participate in peer-to-peer learning. This event will be held in Baton Rouge, LA. More details to come. May 27th, LPCA and advocates will return to the State Capitol for the Louisiana Community Health Center Day of Action to speak with legislators and advocate on behalf of their communities and patients. Health center leadership, board members, and staff as well as community partner organizations are invited to attend! October 14th-17th, our 42nd Annual Conference will be held in Baton Rouge, LA. This year's theme is "Sowing the Seeds: Cultivating Innovation in Healthcare Systems." More information regarding our upcoming conference will be available soon. These events are a perfect way to get engaged with the Community Health Center movement, and we hope to see you there! LPCA has just announced several new open positions within our organization! Join our team and help support Louisiana's Community Health Centers and the patients they serve through these newly opened positions: ? ?????????? ?????????????????? ?????????????? – Lead the development, implementation, and day-to-day management of all processes related to: accounting; financial reporting; budgeting; financial planning; business, operational and program reporting and analyses; performance measures; decision support and related matters; a successful annual audit, fiscal management of grants ? ?????????????????????????? ?????????????? – Oversee the successful operations of the credentialing program of the Louisiana Primary Care Accountable Care Organization (LPCACO), including gaining adoption from the LPCACO member Health Centers for the core credentialing platform, CredentialStream by VerityStream. ? ?????????????????????????? ???????????????????? – Organize, maintain, and verify all aspects of the credentialing process for the LPCACO network practitioners. ? ???????????? ???????????????? – Oversee the day-to-day operations of the LPCA and act as a technical resource in education and communications for primary care in Louisiana, particularly as it regards the membership of the LPCA. ? ???????????????? ???? ???????????????? ?????????????? – Develop and direct activities pertaining to clinicians and clinical programs for the Louisiana Primary Care Association and Federally Qualified Health Centers. ? ???????????????? ???? ?????????????? ???????? & ?????????????? ?????????????????????? – Oversee managed care contracts and value-based contracting initiatives, population health/clinical integration strategies, government contracts, and partnering opportunities with regional employers. ? ???????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????? – Provide project coordination, analytical reporting, and operational support for increasing access to health services through care management teams. *All full job postings are available on https://lnkd.in/ebbab3ym, and all resumes should be sent to [email protected].

Each year, as we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the impact of his work, LPCA reflects on how the mission of all Community Health Centers are a reflection of his fight for justice for every individual, empowering every person to treat themselves and others with dignity and fairness. It reminds us that the work we do today to advocate for each other and for the most medically vulnerable and underserved in Louisiana and throughout the country will live on beyond the clinic walls and impact generations far beyond our own. We hope to continue following in Dr. King's footsteps toward a healthier and more equitable future.
