As we kicked off the first day of #CERAWeek, Louisiana Economic Development and our partners are thrilled to be here representing Louisiana and our state's exceptional energy sector. This week promises to be an incredible opportunity to share our renewed story of innovation and leadership in both traditional and expanding energy markets. ? One of the highlights of Day 1 was meeting with the Premier of Alberta, Danielle Smith. It was a pleasure discussing the vital roles that both Louisiana and Canada play in shaping the future of the global energy industry. ? It was a great preview of our panel discussion tomorrow, "Mega Energy Centers: Getting the Mix Right." where we will join Dow CEO Jim Fitterling and S&P Global Vice Chairman Daniel Yergin to explore how we can strategically blend traditional energy production with new, innovative solutions. ? ? $18 BILLION EXPANSION ? Louisiana is growing its leadership in LNG, expanding U.S. export capacity and fueling the world.
Venture Global was proud to host the Governor of Louisiana Jeff Landry, U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, U.S. Secretary of Interior Doug Burgum and other state & local officials and stakeholders to celebrate the announcement of our planned $18 billion dollar expansion of Plaquemines LNG.
