Empowering All Students To Make Meaningful Contributions To the World

关于我们

Loudoun County Public Schools. Our mission is to empower all students to make meaningful contributions to the world. Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) is the third-largest school division in the Commonwealth of Virginia. One of the fastest-growing counties in America, Loudoun continues its proud tradition of quality public education and maintaining an outstanding record of student achievement despite the pressures of surging enrollment. The mission of LCPS is to empower all students to make meaningful contributions to the world. To fulfill this mission, LCPS develops students as knowledgeable critical thinkers, communicators, collaborators, creators and contributors. Knowing that they are making meaningful contributions, students experience a strong sense of ownership of their work, leading to deeper, longer-lasting learning. LCPS is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to promoting equity and inclusion while increasing and celebrating the diversity of our employees. • In celebration of Women's History Month, we proudly recognize the leadership, achievements, and contributions of all the women within our school division—both staff and students. Today, we feature Ms. Schleyer, a teacher assistant at Mercer Middle School. She says “Women’s History Month means recognizing all of the patience, hard work, dedication and love that women give naturally and so generously, and our ability to remain strong and poised while doing so.”

More than 750 attendees gathered to celebrate and strengthen partnerships between Loudoun County Public Schools and the businesses that support them. This year’s theme, Together We Thrive, reflected the power of collaboration to positively impact students and staff across the division. The event showcased how community and business partnerships bring real-world learning opportunities into schools and support student success. The breakfast was fully sponsored by business partners in collaboration with the Loudoun Education Foundation and LCPS.
