Spring is here, and so are new travel trends. ?? Travelers are craving outdoor escapes, fresh dining experiences, and seasonal getaways. Hotels can tap into this demand by: -Leaning into outdoor experiences: Think alfresco dining, nature-driven excursions, or wellness retreats. -Making marketing visual: Spring aesthetics (bright colors, florals, outdoor settings) perform best on social. -Aligning with booking behavior: Last-minute spring break deals? Early summer getaway promotions? Timing matters. #SpringTravel #HotelMarketing #HospitalityTrends #LotusMarketing

Poll results are in! ??? We recently asked our LinkedIn community what their top marketing focus is right now, and here’s what we found: - 75% of respondents prioritize guest loyalty - 25% are focused on driving direct bookings - 0% selected increasing F&B sales or attracting new group clients The results highlight a strong focus on guest retention, which may be driven by the extremely competitive market, and the economic uncertainty may be pushing hotels to focus on retaining existing guests rather than chasing new ones. With fluctuating travel demand and rising acquisition costs, maximizing lifetime value is a smart move. We also know that repeat guests tend to spend more, leave better reviews, and refer others, making loyalty a key driver of long-term revenue. Direct bookings also remain a key priority, emphasizing the need for optimized websites, and targeted campaigns. What do you think? Are these results aligned with your current strategies? #GuestLoyalty #DirectBookings #GuestRetention #RepeatGuests

Hotels that fail to integrate outlets & activations into their seasonal strategies are missing out on significant, sustainable revenue growth. Why? Because today’s travelers aren’t just booking a place to stay, they’re booking experiences. Our principal and owner,?Kimberly Erwin connects with Donte P. Johnson, General Manager, Thompson Atlanta Buckhead, and explores why viewing outlets, activations, and curated experiences are essential to long-term profitability.
It’s time to rethink how we measure success—not just in dollars, but in differentiation.?True success comes from differentiation—offering unique experiences that create emotional connections and long-term loyalty. I had the pleasure of collaborating with Donte P. Johnson, on-property experiences and activations expert.
