What if Harry was in a different Hogwarts house? ?? Instead of light and dark mode, I had this idea of the four houses as different themes and just had to try it with the new theming feature we launched recently in LottieFiles Creator (lottie.new)! First I animated my illustration, and then I added color tokens to Harry's scarf and created a theme for each house (P.S. I'm a Gryffindor). Result: ?? Gryffindor, ?? Slytherin, ?? Hufflepuff, and ?? (??? ??? ???) Thanks to advancements in technology, we’ve been able to work on both dark and light themes with a single UI for a few years now. But why has it been so difficult to do the same with complex visuals? Well… not anymore! With the newly updated Lottie Theming, you can now set multiple modes for a single Lottie asset and apply them based on your desired conditions. Dark, light, Christmas, ocean—you name it! You can assign specific visual colors to various themes. Think of it as similar to Figma’s variable modes. In my opinion, this feature would be incredibly useful for managing static assets across themes, not just animations. I’ve put together a quick demonstration video for you to follow along. Check it out and give it a try yourself! 1. Configure the desired visual asset themes in Lottie Creator. 2. Export to LottieFiles. 3. Open the LottieFiles plugin in Framer. 4.
