While it didn't make the headlines, as thousands started to pack into Crypto Arena for Tyler the Creator’s week of concerts, something just as meaningful was happening a few miles away—his team was delivering meals to Skid Row. Partnering with the LA Mission, Tyler made sure LA’s homeless community got a warm meal while he dominated the stage. No matter how big or small your platform is, giving back spreads hope. This past weekend, the LA Mission, supported by our dedicated volunteers and incredible community partners, hosted the Race to Feed event in Altadena. Thanks to your generosity and support, we delivered critical resources to over 400 wildfire survivors and families in need. Our Impact in Numbers: Over 400 survivors and families were assisted. Hundreds of hot meals were served, and fresh groceries distributed to ensure no family went hungry. Survivors received clean clothing and hygiene kits, helping them regain dignity and stability. Financial aid, grants, and recovery services were provided to empower families to rebuild. Health screenings and mental health support addressed urgent wellness needs. The Real Impact: This event was about more than just resources—it was about restoring hope and creating connections. Smiles, hugs, and heartfelt conversations showed the true spirit of community. Survivors left not just with essentials, but with the knowledge that they are not alone. The Urgency of Support: The wildfire recovery process is far from over, and many families still face immense challenges. It’s no secret we’re running on tight resources, but that doesn’t stop us from showing up every day for our community. Support like Uber’s donation of free rides allows us to go further—helping wildfire evacuees and residents in recovery get to doctor’s appointments, court dates, or a safe place to sleep. These partnerships not only help us stretch every dollar and reach more people, but they also show what’s possible when companies step up to help. Hardly noticed amid the devastating wildfire updates, $3.6B in federal funding was announced by HUD on Friday marking the largest investment in U.S. history to address homelessness. Nearly 7,000 projects nationwide will receive support. New support for housing for youth, domestic abuse survivors, and chronically homeless individuals. This investment isn’t just about buildings—it’s about lives. Together, we can ensure every child has a safe place to call home and every individual finds the support they deserve. What a heart of gold! Kathy Hilton collected toys at her holiday parties and donated them to Los Angeles Mission so we could help spread holiday cheer to local children so they could experience the joy of Christmas. What a stunning display and generous offer!

Thank you to Bright Event Rentals for donating the chairs, tables, and all the essentials that transformed our Christmas event into a warm, festive gathering. Members of Bright's staff also decorated a whopping 500+ Christmas presents that were donated by Jakks Toys and distributed to children that day! Their generosity from start to finish helped us create a truly memorable experience for our Skid Row community.
