Last week, the LACDA set up a phone task force to reach out to the nearly 800 program participants in wildfire affected areas to assess their needs and determine if they require housing resources. Earlier this month, our Housing Operations Division (HOD) enjoyed a staff retreat in beautiful Playa Del Rey. This amazing group met all their performance goals and accomplished so much this year. The retreat was a perfect opportunity to step away from the office and focus on team building, collaboration, and strategic planning. These efforts will help strengthen teamwork, boost morale, and set the stage for even greater success ahead. Thank you, HOD, for your hard work and unwavering dedication to housing!

It was great connecting ?? with talented professionals ?? and sharing opportunities at Congresswoman Nanette Barragán’s 6th Annual Job Fair with the Salvation Army in the City of Long Beach. With over 60 employers, the event provided professional development workshops, interview preparation sessions, and on the spot interviews from some employers.
