We were proud to participate in the 22nd Annual TexasMedRun on February 15, 2025, in Houston’s Texas Medical Center. Hosted by the Harris County Hospital District Foundation (HCHD Foundation), this inspiring event brought together runners, walkers, and supporters for a 10K run, 5K run/walk, and Kids 1K, all benefiting Harris Health’s Heart Health Initiative. More than just a race, the TexasMedRun fosters health, wellness, and a spirit of giving back—values that align with our commitment to supporting the hospitals and communities we serve. Families, hospital staff, and local businesses came together for a day filled with energy, music, and unity, all in support of heart health awareness. Embracing the event’s Mardi Gras theme, we joined in the celebration by handing out festive masks and beads to approximately 150 children. John Martinez, District Manager for Lori’s Gifts, shared, “Being part of an event that raises money and awareness for one of the best hospital districts in the country was an honor. Seeing the excitement on the children’s faces as we handed out masks and beads was truly special. We are grateful for our partnership with the Harris County Hospital District and look forward to continuing our support for their incredible work.” We’re honored to stand alongside organizations making a difference and look forward to more opportunities to give back!

On Tuesday, 02/04/2025, we proudly celebrated the grand opening of Lori’s Gifts Store #677 in partnership with Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio! We began the festivities with a heartfelt blessing ceremony, setting the tone for a meaningful and exciting day. Meet Doug Lane, Chief Merchandising Officer at Lori's Gifts. In his role, Doug leads and oversees key areas such as Sales Planning and Merchandising, Demand Planning, New Product Development, Logistics and Distribution, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Quality Assurance, and Compliance and Regulatory. With a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers College in New Jersey, Doug brings a well-rounded perspective to his leadership. At Lori’s Gifts, he takes pride in ensuring the availability of carefully curated products that enhance and meet the needs of hospital visitors, patients, and staff. These thoughtfully selected items provide comfort and convenience, offering meaningful solutions for time spent on campus and thoughtful gestures for coworkers, visitors, and patients.

Continuing our series of meeting our amazing team, meet Maja Teeples, Chief Financial Officer at Lori's Gifts. With a unique blend of financial and operational expertise, Maja has excelled in leadership roles across both privately held and publicly traded companies spanning various industries. Her extensive experience includes financial modeling, budgeting, strategic planning, operational analysis, transformation initiatives, and mergers and acquisitions. Known for driving strategic initiatives that deliver outstanding financial and operational results, Maja is also recognized for her ability to foster strong relationships within an organization, becoming a trusted partner and advisor. Maja holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, further solidifying her expertise in navigating complex business landscapes.

A proud graduate of Dallas Baptist University with degrees in business, Jeff combines his academic foundation with a heartfelt approach to leadership.
