?? new blog alert ?? Chain Of Draft (CoD) is a neat way to reduce output tokens amount while keeping high performing outputs - it is very similar to Chain Of Thought but with a slight modification. Credit for the research goes to the Zoom research team! Why DSPy? It is my favorite prompt programming library. Implementing CoD with DSPy is just ~2-3 lines and then it is ready to work on any task, just like that. Why prompt programming? Lead Machine Learning Scientist Seth Levine states the most obvious advice (that most businesses skip). "Use AI to solve a problem - not for its own sake."
