We are excited to publish our 2024 Annual Impact Brief, showcasing milestones of the year. In 2024, we strengthened our social investments, scaling impactful initiatives such as OneSky Mongolia’s Building Better Futures, The Asia Foundation’s Let’s Read, and Zorig Foundation’s Sustainable Employment for Youth Programme. We also expanded our portfolio with: - Christina Noble Children's Foundation, supporting its Youth Rehabilitation and Reintegration Programme. - Recognising climate change as a cross-cutting issue for children and youth, we invested in The Nature Conservancy’s Eternal Mongolia initiative. As our social investments scaled and expanded, we also remained steadfast on strengthening the ecosystem, fostering collaboration and mobilising capital for greater impact. ???????????? Social entrepreneur, accidental hotelier, regen facilitator, father of 4 kids - living in Ubud, Bali.
What does catalytic philanthropy look like in Asia? This question drove me and my colleagues to undertake an exciting piece of research commissioned by the Sasakawa Peace Foundation. Over the course of a few months, we spoke to many key players in the region, read through countless reports, and interviewed 15 actors from 7 countries all engaged in progressive forms of philanthropy characterized by the key words of: purposeful, adaptable, systemic, holistic, aligned, synergistic, informed, accountable, and sustainable.? And we crystallized these elements into a 3 x 3 framework for easy digestion and helpful guidance. We are thrilled to share the outcome of this research! https://lnkd.in/gFMzbZDm 15 philanthropic actors featured in the report: 1. Bayan Family of Foundations 2. Dompet Dhuafa 3.
