I totally binge watched an AI course this afternoon!! I blew off a walk and dinner because I was hooked. This one was so worth it and now I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: OpenAI GPTs: Creating Your Own Custom AI Assistants from Vanderbilt University! This class was absolutely outstanding!! ? ? ? ? ? Thank you to Jules White. I learned so much more about building, testing and refining custom GPTs. It’s easy to think a GPT is working well when you cherry-pick a few good responses. But the real test? Seeing how it performs across different users, scenarios, and requests. That’s where benchmarks come in. The course also introduced me to the CAPITAL Framework which helps measure key areas like accuracy, precision, adaptability, and clarity. One of my favorite assignments? Building a custom GPT to generate test cases for your custom GPTs. Seems ironic, however, super useful in helping you define rubrics to measure the outputs. This course definitely provided awesome insights that I'll be sharing at ModernWell Wednesday, March 19th from 1-3. Register here for: Your AI, Your Rules. Get started building your own AI Assistants—no coding required! https://lnkd.in/epNWdD2N Would love to hear from others. Vikki Baptiste Kellye Kamp, what works for you guys when testing and refining your custom GPTs? #OpenAI #ChatGPT #CustomGPT #Testing #Benchmarks #CAPITALFramework

I don't typically get up at 5:15 am, but I wish I could wake up that early and volunteer for the Ready. Set. Pivot. International Women's Day event every day of the week. It's one day later and all I can think about is the energy that comes from being around such amazing women. While there was an awesome DJ yesterday and lots of hugging and laughter, even bubble-blowing (thanks to Alex Merritt leading us through exercises to help get better at loving ourselves), there were also some very serious conversations about women as care-givers. Women who spend so much time taking care of their children, their aging parents, they have little left when it comes to caring for themselves. And it can take its toll, sometimes feeling like another full-time job. And the experiences shared by the panelists were so real and raw, how you carry these burdens often in silence. One message that stood out for me is that we as women need to get better at asking for help and not feeling like we have to do it all. And that people actually appreciate being asked. A woman in the audience shared something that really stuck with me. She talked about how none of us are going to live forever and how we need to be ready. This caused me to pause. I've had a few conversations with my parents about what to do should anything happen to them. But I literally remember none of it. I'd be at a complete loss. I know this seems crazy, but I woke up this morning inspired to build a simple guided tool to help get affairs in order before you're in crisis mode. And my thought was I could start recording conversations with my parents to make it easier for me to capture and retain the information. You can check it out here: ?? https://lnkd.in/gzwqsY_G More than anything, this day was a reminder that we’re never alone in this. If you were there, what moment stuck with you the most? And if you couldn’t make it, what’s something that’s been on your mind about caregiving? ?? Huge thanks to: Wendy S. Wiesman Katie Hjelmstad Severt, MBA ? Cathy Paper, M.A. Lindsay Jurist-Rosner Krista O'Malley Calandra Revering Alex Merritt Grateful too for the awesome group of volunteers. Allison Seed Brenda Wogen Carrie Krautkramer Elise Uphoff Jeni Cleveland, MBA Julia Vicente Kristi Broom ?? Kristy Melius Melissa Lee Sara Messerli, MA, SHRM-CP Sarah Moe Also, shoutout to the Downtown Minneapolis YMCA of the North for hosting. I had never been in there before and WOW. I was blown away by the space. Jennifer Menk (Bresnahan) led us through a reformer pilates class. Jessica Wittwer gave us a tour of the wellness center so we could experience red light therapy and hydro massage. They also offer community acupuncture!! Who knew??!! It was just an incredible day. The last photo is of my parents from the very same day and it's the reason the conversations mattered so much. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2025 #WomenSupportingWomen #Caregiving #YouAreNotAlone #RSPExperience #Minneapolis

This post will not do my week justice. I realize Lorignite was founded on the premise of teaching people how to talk to a bot like ChatGPT, but for me, nothing compares to the humans I've met on the entrepreneurial journey. ?? Thursday, April 11 - The 13th Annual MN Entrepreneur Kickoff which is organized by my dear friend and mentor, Lois Josefson. When I stepped into the event last year, I was alone and unsure. This year, just one year later was a whole different story. I'm still pinching myself as Lorignite was one of the sponsors. One of my favorite moments from the day was the "When Need Meets Opportunity" featuring my friends Amy Perrill from The Widow Collaborative and Wendy S. Wiesman along with some other powerhouse women Jennifer Roth founder of Wise Blue Yonder and Meredith Englund founder of Camperoni. Grateful to other innovative ladies. Karen Andersen who is a force to be reckoned with in cyber security and Britta Newly who helps budding podcasters, Katie Sterns, pioneering in jewelry technology and Jeanette Dorazio, an experienced AI leader who sees a new gap in our world that needs filling. Then there was the younger generation showcasing their innovations. These entrepreneurs are the same age as my kids with mind-blowing ideas. Imagine not having to shovel your driveway someday. I'm talking about you, Max Minakov, founder of Nivoso!! ?? Thursday night Applied AI (Justin Grammens & Emily McCarthy) teamed up with REM5 STUDIOS offering folks a chance to try Apple Vision Pro. I did not want to leave. Thank you to Nick Roseth and Anthony Corrado for opening my eyes to what's possible. ? Friday morning coffee with Eric Molho the founder and principal of Bon Partners. He and I worked together to see how ChatGPT would perform analyzing donor data (minus personal info) for actionable insights. The best part, is the advice from ChatGPT to handle missing data!! Eric Molho, TK Dunn, and I will be speaking together at the upcoming The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits 2024 Annual Conference. ?? Friday afternoon a chance to learn from a couple of the most recognized voices in the Twin Cities for AI strategy at Lab651 | Custom Software Development & Process Thank you to Matthew Versaggi and Michael A. for their wonderful insights for how an organization becomes AI ready. They also said "AI Bullseye Tactics for Non-Technical Business Leaders" is a must-read. https://lnkd.in/gBZRmD2Z In summary: I am GRATEFUL for this incredible week of learning, connection, and growth! Cheers. ??
