? How to pick the PERFECT holiday gifts for customers & employees ? don't even try ??? Unless you’re a gifting maestro, is probably haunting you right now. You need to find, purchase, and send gifts to everyone on your list but you don’t know how to do it because what’s a gift that everyone will like?! The way we see it, you have a few options… ?? Hire a psychic to go through your Excel sheet row by row and suggest the perfect gift for each recipient. (This could take a while and get really expensive depending on the size of your list and the hourly rate of the psychic.) ?? Ask a bunch of different people at your company for suggestions of gifts that make everyone happy. You’ll eventually get overwhelmed, stare at your screen, eat some sad fruit cake, and eventually make an order for the most neutral option: a stainless steel travel mug. ? Skip shopping altogether and let your giftee choose their gift. Our advice is to go with the last option. This is something we call “choice-based gifting” or “collection-based gifting" if we're feeling fancy?? But no matter what you call it, this just means letting someone pick their own gift from a collection of great options so you can send gifts without breaking a sweat!

I usually am not one to write LinkedIn posts like this but… What. A. Week. Words cannot begin to describe how amazing the week (and a bit) of the Billie Jean King Cup was this year in Málaga, Spain. The tennis was spectacular, the crowds were electric, and at the end, World #4 Jasmine Paolini lifted the trophy with Team Italy avenging their loss in the finals last year. With support from partners like Gainbridge, E.L.F. BEAUTY, Microsoft, Magellan Corporation, and others, the World Cup of Women’s Tennis has risen to unbelievable heights and will only continue to build off its immense momentum. In addition to the tournament, Billie Jean King Enterprises (a SPECIAL shoutout to Therese O'Higgins and Andrew Doran for their tireless work on this spectacular event), alongside our partners at E.L.F. BEAUTY, CNN, Franklin Templeton, and Loop & Tie ??, put on the Power of Women’s Sport Summit. With speakers such as Malala, Kory Marchisotto, Christiane Amanpour, Sheila Johnson, and others, our company continues to magnify the force of women’s sports. I am so grateful to work alongside each and every colleague, teammate, and partner. “The seat at the table is a hot seat” I don’t recall who said this recently, but it’s been swirling in my head ever since. Why? Because it’s true. But you don’t really know that until you sit down.?? Early in my career, people who had a seat at the table didn’t look like me. So young Gina, just a few years out of college, didn’t know she belonged in the seat. It wasn’t until well over a decade into my career that I even witnessed a woman holding a seat at the executive table.?Her team overachieved, crushing goals and taking names, contributing significantly to the business during a high-growth stage. She consistently showed up like a diamond under pressure: brilliant. Since then, I’ve thankfully, seen many women occupy that hot seat. These women do it with grit and grace, showing up as a badass in the board room, and an inspiring leader with their teams. They’ve proven that women can hold themselves and their teams accountable to high expectations, deliver results, and be kind humans. They speak up with their opinions and stand up for what’s right. I want to thank and put a spotlight on just a few of the women who model what it looks like to own that hot seat. Sydney Sloan, Karrie Sanderson, Jill Rowley, Wendy Werve and Maria Pergolino, it's been an honor to get to know you through our Empowered CMO community and many conversations, and I appreciate the example and bar you set for other leaders.
