L&A President Martin Schneider visited Fermilab this week to talk to lab employees about Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC (FermiForward), which will be the new management-and-operating contractor for Fermilab starting January 1. L&A is "humbled and honored" to be part of the FermiForward team, Martin told lab staff, noting how special Fermilab is as a scientific leader. We had the opportunity last week to engage with the L&A Advisory Board in beautiful (and snowy!) Santa Fe! Our Board is made up of industry experts who provide strategic advice and counsel to our operations. We also had the chance to provide an Outstanding Service award to Board member Tyler Przybylek; and a Distinguished Service award to Board member Michael Kluse. We had the opportunity to sponsor the Las Vegas Porsche Club of America's F 1/10 Race at Red Rock event, with L&A CEO John Longenecker on hand. The race helped raise funds for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Engineering.
