Congratulations to our client, Browning West LP, for a historic proxy contest outcome that has resulted in a new board and the reinstatement of a legendary CEO. This followed full slate recommendations from all three proxy advisory firms. It was a privilege to advise on this campaign alongside Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP, Goodmans LLP and Carson Proxy Advisors.?

We have some exciting firm updates to announce: Rebecca Kral will become Longacre’s first Chief Operating Officer. Since joining the firm, Rebecca has helped institutionalize our corporate offering while also leading many special situations matters on behalf of her clients. Rebecca will continue to advise clients while taking on the COO role, which will involve overseeing human capital management, marketing and new business, tech and infrastructure, and other special projects.?? Scott Deveau will become a Partner. Since joining the firm, he has transitioned from being a top-tier reporter to a trusted media advisor and business generator. Additionally, Scott has helped us establish a presence in Canada through his deep knowledge of the market and his advisor relationships. As a Partner, Scott will play an even bigger role with the firm’s key clients when they need high-stakes media counsel and press management support.? Kate Sylvester will become a Partner. She has been a driver of our asset management offering and has set new standards for subject matter expertise, quality advice and work ethic while overseeing many of our high-profile hedge fund clients.??
