Powering the 2024 Democratic National Convention: Lombardi Electric, Inc. Role Lombardi Electric, Inc., along with Taylor Electric Company, are honored to have provided the temporary power and cabling for the 2024 Democratic National Convention at the United Center, working under McHugh Construction. Being part of this major event was a true privilege for our team. Lombardi Electric's Key Contributions: - Installed fiber, Cat6, and coaxial cabling for media, DNC, production, and pool needs. - Installation of two new 3000A ComEd services. - Designed and installed low-voltage pathways. - Provided power and low-voltage services for: Advocate Center, Media Penthouse Suites, Media Lower Level Suites, Media Stand Ups, Network Platforms, and Media Row. - Delivered production/show power, including six temporary UPS units. - Set up temporary power for Cadillac, state markers, and motor-pool locations. Lombardi Electric installed over 75,000 feet of temporary power cable for services ranging from 50A to 800A, 15 miles of 20A extension cords and over 400,000 feet of fiber, Cat6, and coaxial cabling. The power is what brought the event to life and the fiber we pulled is what brought the event to you at home.??? The timeline for this high-profile project was extremely tight, which required substantial pre-planning and careful management. Our team worked hard to meet the demands of this important event, ensuring everything was delivered on time. Last night some of our team members had the privilege of attending the soft opening of Hawksmoor Chicago that we were able to help build. James Fordyce and Kevin Lyman knocked this one out of the park. Nothing like eating an amazing dinner in an amazing space that you helped bring to life. Thank you Gallant and Hawksmoor for trusting us to be your partner. We love so many things about this space, but everyone agrees that the 1920's fixtures are our favorite. We are all looking forward to watching the success of this restaurant and stopping in for another amazing meal.
