LOLIWARE Inc. is honored to be a part of the Blue Climate Collective alongside other companies that are advancing innovative solutions to tackle plastic pollution.
Imagine a giant net sweeps through your neighborhood, completely demolishing everything in its path — your home, gardens, mailboxes, neighbors, roads, cars, pools... Everything is gone. This is what’s happening to fish, corals, and marine mammals in the EU’s “protected” waters. Bottom trawlers tear up the seafloor and indiscriminately kill millions of creatures, regardless of species. Enough is enough. It’s time to demand that the EU ban bottom trawling in their not-actually-protected areas. Add your name in support: https://lnkd.in/eEkVBvF2

A significant moment for the industry and - we hope - our planet today as the Natural Polymers Group is officially launched ?? ?? ?? This new, high impact industry voice has been formed through a global coalition of packaging companies - Notpla included - committed to scaling natural polymer solutions that will reduce plastic pollution globally. As a group, we've joined forces with six other innovators across the US, Europe and India, with the goal of establishing nature-based materials, such as plants and seaweeds, as truly viable and mainstream means of replacing plastic. Ahead of the upcoming UN plastic treaty negotiation, we're calling for UN Treaty makers to recognise natural polymer materials as a key tool in the fight against plastic and to be included in its definition for non-plastic substitutes. If you share this vision, please play a part by joining the group in the link below and sharing this post to help spread the news.
