This past week Lola Vision Systems met with Purdue Research Foundation Chief Innovation and Collaboration Officer, David Broecker and Silicon Valley Boilermaker Innovation Group (SVBIG) Co-Founder, Bruce Schechter. One of the world’s top universities in Engineering, Purdue University recently became the first university to create a Semiconductor degree. Tayo Adesanya Co-Founder and CEO of Lola Vision Systems and an Electrical Engineering Technology graduate from Purdue University, met with David Broecker and Bruce Schecter to discuss the future of computing in autonomous machines using advanced AI silicon. Later that evening, Tayo Adesanya gave a mini-lecture on this topic to the students in the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). NSBE is the nations largest student run organization founded at Purdue with over 20,000 students attending its most recent annual conference. While at Purdue, Tayo became a Big Ten Champion and All-American after securing top 5 in the nation at High Jump in the 2009 NCAA Championships. During that time he also won the national NSBE student technical research competition. Tayo, founder of Lola Vision Systems, a fabless semiconductor company building AI chiplets for autonomous machines was recently selected in the latest cohort of the Techstars Los Angeles Accelerator Program. LVS was selected among two dozen startups out of over 1600 applications submitted. Techstars is the nations most active preseed fund for tech startups in the world.
