As an '80s baby and '90s kiddo, I still love a handwritten note on lined paper in blue ink, especially when it is as great as this one. Building anything is a challenge - building something (that works and makes immediate, practical, and tactical positive changes) for an essential workforce is equally as challenging as it is thrilling. Dedicating thousands of hours to child care operations has taught me that multitasking is not impossible AND essential to day-to-day management. It also taught me that I couldn't effectively multitask and remain in responsive relationship with myself and others while in front of a screen or jotting things down in a notebook—the only effective way I've seen to do that is to #useyourvoice.
