We had an exciting Friday at the office as we came together to celebrate some significant milestones! Mark Dejoode marked an incredible 30 years with the company, so in tradition, we gathered in the large conference room to share cake, mixed nuts, and stories about the nostalgic moments leading up to this special day. On the customer service side, Lisa Bunch celebrated her 28th anniversary with us, and Heather Waegli was honored on her birthday! To make the occasion even more special, we requested Steve Winders to wear his chef’s hat and treat us to a gourmet lunch—and he absolutely delivered! We savored a delicious spread that included Steak from Omaha Steaks, Potato Au Gratin Dauphinoise from Kabobs, grilled asparagus, and our favorite strawberry pecan salad from G Mig’s. To top it all off, we indulged in a decadent homemade Oreo ice cream cake. All in all, our hearts and bellies are full as we celebrate our incredible team members!

Earlier this week, our team came together to take part in the 17th Annual Hunger Fight with Meals from the Heartland. With three groups of volunteers, we packed over 2,000 meals—each one helping to feed children in Iowa, across the U.S., and around the world. Our HR Director shared a powerful reminder of why this event is so meaningful: volunteering for this cause directly aligns with our mission and values. Feeding our communities is at the heart of what we do, and giving back in this way has a profound impact. After working hard to make a difference, we celebrated with a pizza party to recharge and refuel between shifts. A big thank you to everyone who signed up and contributed to this cause!
