Are you underwhelmed by the ability of diesel to dissolve asphaltenes? We were too! But for many, the economics of switching to better performing, more costly chemical solutions are hard to justify. So when an operator approached us to improve the dissolution capacity of diesel, we rose to the challenge. Our lab testing conducted under static, ambient conditions showed that the addition of Locus Bio-Energy's #AVERT for asphaltene dissolution to diesel resulted in: √ Improved Dissolution Capacity: Adding less than 5% of AVERT to diesel significantly enhances its ability to dissolve asphaltenes. √ Smaller Particle Size: The asphaltenes in solution have a smaller particle size than with diesel alone. √ Reduced Agglomeration: There’s less clumping of any residual, undissolved asphaltenes. √ Enhanced Suspension: The asphaltenes remain better suspended in the solution. √ Cost-Effective Solution: Incorporating AVERT into existing operations requires minimal changes and incurs little additional cost while delivering better performance.
