Ian joined our team in August 2023, initially working in the shop, where his strong work ethic and curiosity quickly stood out. In November 2024, after expressing a keen interest in transitioning to a Driver role, Ian began shadowing our experienced drivers to gain hands-on insights into the position. In January 2025, Ian took the next step in his professional journey by enrolling in CDL training at International CDL in Johnston, Rhode Island. He has already made impressive progress, mastering skills such as parking and turning, and is well on his way to earning his full Commercial Driver’s License in the next 3–4 months. Ian continues to build his on-road experience, demonstrating dedication and a commitment to excellence. Ian’s story is a shining example of how internal growth opportunities can lead to new career advancements. His proactive approach and enthusiasm for learning are truly commendable. His dedication, leadership, and expertise have consistently driven success across his projects. Nelson’s diverse background—spanning hands-on field experience, technical drafting, and extensive project management expertise—has uniquely positioned him for this new role. Lockheed was proud to support the Burrillville HS Boys Hockey team as they conducted a food drive to benefit Operation Stand Down, a non-profit organization based in Johnston, RI that provides housing, food, and job assistance as a “hand up” to RI Veterans in need. This past weekend, Lockheed President Michael S. Kosiver and Sr. Project Executive Eric Gregoire traveled to Las Vegas to attend the biannual, in-person Guardian Peer Group meeting at the Planet Hollywood Casino. It was a very productive meeting, and outgoing co-chairs John Turner of Vos Glass and Brock West of Glass Systems as well as the group members named Kosiver and Trey Taylor of BEES as co-chairs for the next two years. After a full day of discussion, the entire team dined at Gordan Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen.
