We officially delivered free copies of "Save the Day, Lock it Away!" to the Austin ISD Central Library system, ensuring that every elementary school in the district will have access to this one-of-a-kind graphic novel. Designed for students in grades 3–5, "Save the Day, Lock it Away!" uses relatable characters and an engaging storyline to introduce an important topic: the role we all play in preventing gun-related accidents through safe storage. We know that conversations about gun safety can feel complicated—especially with kids. This book is a tool to make those conversations easier, more approachable, and age-appropriate, empowering young readers with knowledge while encouraging adults to take action. We're incredibly grateful to Austin Independent School District for their partnership in helping us bring this vital resource to schools across our community.
