Throwback Thursday: Celebrating the Homewood Suites Project! As we gear up for the upcoming Lodging Conference, we're excited to reflect on some of our standout hotel projects, starting with the incredible Homewood Suites! This stunning 87-room hotel truly showcases the magic of teamwork and dedication. At Lochsa, we worked closely with the Engineer of Record to create Cold Formed Steel shop drawings and provide top-notch panelization services. Together, we ensured that every lateral and gravity force was perfectly managed, keeping the original design intact. We also teamed up with incredible vendors like Nucor Corporation, Ecospan Construction Company, and Coretek to coordinate our framing, ensuring everything arrived on site just in time to beat the winter chill! ?? Throwback Thursday – Looking back at the Tribute to 9/11 Heroes As we reflect on Patriots Day and the solemn remembrance of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, we look back at the memorials that pay tribute to those who perished in the terrorist attacks. The 9/11 memorial in Boise, Idaho, and at Schriever Air Force Base were created using large steel pieces of the World Trade Center. Lochsa provided structural support for these memorials that stand as enduring tributes to the courage and sacrifice of the first responders from that tragic day. Diving into the depths of innovation, Lochsa provided complete structural design services for this 90,000 square foot exhibit!????The Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay holds an astonishing 1.3 million gallons of water, showcasing the cutting-edge engineering that ensures the safety of both marine life and visitors. This captivating attraction is home to over 3,000 animals, making it one of the largest indoor shark exhibits on the West Coast. Here, you can come face-to-face with majestic 13-foot crocodiles, graceful sea turtles, and curious stingrays!?????
