In just six months, we modernized our tech stack, streamlined systems, and shipped more features than we had in years. Kepler 3.1.1 now allows users to drag-and-drop files directly as DuckDB tables, significantly streamlining data import workflows in this incremental update to the 3.1 release. The patch also addresses several DuckDB-related issues, including improved column type handling, better schema panel updates after queries, and fixed display of temporary tables. Beyond database improvements, this release includes critical fixes to the vector tile layer, geocoder coordinates, icon layer scaling, and various rendering issues that enhance the overall mapping experience.
