Commerce Lexington's Economic Development team recently participated in Local Lexington Day, part of the Leadership Lexington Youth Program, designed to inspire high school juniors to consider their roles in strengthening the community. Hosted at the Lexington Sporting Club, students explored Lexington's diverse industries, learning about economic growth and the power of fresh ideas in leadership. Together, they participated in interactive games to understand industry impacts, highlighting the diverse career options available to them and how each can contribute to a thriving local economy. Thank you Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass, Inc. for including our team and for continuing a program founded by a Commerce Lexington Inc. Leadership Lexington class in 2004. It was inspiring to see this group so engaged in shaping the future of Lexington.
