If you're thinking of doing your SEO, don't wait ,start! get learning how!
Director of SEO. We Offer SEO Fuelled By Digital PR to Increase Business Sales, Profits and Brand Growth
The Compounding Benefits of SEO. People always ask, what's the ROI of SEO? When the real question should be. What's the value of SEO? It's something I ranted about over hundreds of pages in my book (with the same title). But one more post won't hurt. When people sign up for SEO, they think it's some kind of persuasive superpower. Even SEOs and copywriters keep pushing this mantra. In reality, that's not how it works. SEO is simply a rationally optimistic marketing method with huge potential upsides. So what are those upsides, and how does it work? Firstly, the money spent on SEO is almost always a business investment, not a cost. Be that on website improvements, content on or off-site, PR coverage or links to your website. A good way to think of this is that your website is your digital home, and your SEO is home improvement. Next up is the marketing value. For every ï¿¡1 placed into SEO, the value compounds over time. For example, an article might rank for 1 keyword in the first month, but this could expand to 100 by the next and eventually drive 1000 new visitors a week to your site. I wrote a single article 8 years ago that is still ranked on page one and has driven 1 million visitors to a website. Yet, each day, advertisers have to pay for clicks for that traffic. But there's more. SEO places your business in front of a large number of people during their purchase journey right when they are considering buying into the category. And it does this for FREE. Yes, SEO costs money, but you're paying for the work and the future value it brings. Once your site leverages the search engines, you're not paying for clicks. In addition, as a huge number of search engine users don't click on ads anyway, you're accessing that audience. Of course, SEO is a fixed cost thanks to the retainer model. Once you lock in with an agency, the SEO cost is now fixed. Ad costs rise. A recent survey by Brightedge revealed that cost per lead has increased for 91% of industries. Finally, (although I could go on). SEO helps to refresh and build memory structures. Every click on your site is a chance for your brand assets to go to work. Every time someone comes to your website, you refresh their memory and help to build a mental connection with your brand. And this is important so that they choose your business when they are ready to buy. Now, you might be thinking...that's marketing waffle. But your business is likely to be in a very competitive market. There might be 1000 businesses that the consumer can choose from in your sector. Normally, you might have a 1 in 1000 chance of being purchased from. But if you can increase that just by 1, so there is a 2 in 1000 chance of being chosen. Your sales could double. That's why SEO is so effective and valuable. It's tough to find another marketing channel like it. So, why aren't you leveraging it? #seo

hot tip. Don't confuse Google by diluting your content. get it all together and boost your rankings! here's how it works... thanks NP!
My favorite content marketing AI use case… When we analyzed 10,000 websites we found that 14.04% of the web pages on a website target the same keywords as other pages on the same website. This is an issue because if multiple pages target the same keyword, search engines won’t know which page to rank. So instead of giving you better odds of getting more traffic… it decreases your chances of ranking. What I want you to do is find all the similar pages and then use the following prompts in order when combining two or more pages: Prompt 1: Analyze the content on [insert URL] Prompt 2: Analyze the content on [insert URL 2] By asking those 2 prompts first it gives the AI time to analyze each article. Prompt 3: What are the overlapping concepts in both articles? This again gives the AI time to think and will help create a better output. Prompt 4: Combine both the articles focusing on the overlapping concepts, but also include the unique concepts in both articles. You'll want to double-check out the output. In many cases the output won't be as thorough as you want, so you'll have to use this prompt to expand upon it. Prompt 5: Expand the content. Specifically the section under the heading "insert the heading from the article" Try it out. It will save you time. When you combine pages, make sure you 301 redirect one of the URLs to the other. And don’t forget to update internal links. When we typically fix this issue on websites we work with on average we see a 13% increase in SEO traffic.

The 2 most overlooked opportunities in SEO If you look at the graph you can see that 680 million searches that happen each day are questions. But if you look at the keywords you are targeting on your site, how many of them are question related? And if you look at the graph you’ll see that 1.27 billion searches a day are new search queries that have never been typed into Google before. But if you look at your SEO strategy, how many keywords are you targeting that aren’t popular in volume? Because these new keywords that are being searched for the first time are just starting to become popular… in keyword tools they won’t show up with high volume. If you target those two segments it makes up 23% of all searches done on Google. Those keywords aren’t competitive and you can find them by the boatload for free using the tool Answer the Public.

2024, content with purpose, go!
Director of SEO. We Offer SEO Fuelled By Digital PR to Increase Business Sales, Profits and Brand Growth
The Number 1 SEO Content Strategy For 2024 When it comes to content for SEO, I have a simple rule. Only create content for future or current customers. By future customers, I mean those who are in the market to buy what you offer. I also have another simple test regarding content. Any post that you create should be able to be boosted by social media and have commercial value. This doesn't mean that every article has to be 3000 words and skyscrapered to the max. No, what this means is that this content has value OUTSIDE OF SEARCH ENGINES. Here's a simple example. Every cosmetic dentist that sells Invisalign braces, should always have an 'Ultimate guide to Invisalign braces' on their site. Not because they'll rank for it. But because any customer coming to their site and thinking about having that treatment would find that useful to read. Traffic is vanity, profit is sanity. But what about backlinks? Sure, create content that can generate backlinks; there is nothing wrong with it, but do so knowing that is why you are creating it. But what about topical authority? Write content for customers, and I assure you, you'll have topical authority. Regardless, that is not some magic pill to get you ranked; you still need to build a brand people search for. And in any kind of competitive market, you'll need links. And by far the best way to gain those links is through digital PR. Because digital PR serves as an advertisement for your business while building credibility and expertise (for search engines today, and the LLM's of tomorrow). Breaking this down again: 1. Only create content for future or current customers. 2. All content must have commercial value outside of search. 3. Any content outside of this must have a strong business reason to be created. Apply this filter ruthlessly, and you'll find you do 2 things very well. You'll create vastly better content that you are proud of. You'll create content that attracts customers. You'll create content that has business value (regardless of if it ranks or not). You'll build a website that has so much value (that people search for it). When you create content for people you seek to serve, you'll start to create content with freedom. And this freedom will allow you to increase the value of what you create. So, apply the traffic is vanity, profit is sanity framework to your content. And you'll notice an immediate difference. Because clients want revenue, not traffic graphs.
