I Was Stuck... I had owned a marketing agency just like everyone else. Starting out in the Google Adwords craze that everyone was talking about online. We had heard about the craze going on with people getting high quality leads and converting at least 50% of them. In our mind's this was a golden ticket! So we introduced it to our clients and began working. A couple months down the line we were generating a decent cost per lead and our clients were converting a high number of leads and then BOOM! Instantly our cost per lead 10x and we were left in the mud. All because LendingTree outspend us on Google Adwords. Our initial thought process was to quit until we decided to invest into something going into the new year that everyone and their mom were talking about. DATA. I took what I had learned and invested over seven figures in advertising collecting pieces of data in the mortgage space through digital advertising. Information including credit scores, loan amount, when they are looking to get a loan, do they have a realtor and more information. This resulted in hundreds of thousands of data points being collected for us online. Now I'm not going to go into the nitty gritty of how we're able to predict who matches the correct data points, including good credit scores, decent sized loan amounts, etc. But, I will tell you that we have now built a proven end to end system that ethically allows us to predict online the right buyer whatever platform that person might be on. (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, ETC.) We then put out a targeted ad to that person on that platform getting them to go through a survey and answer our designated questions to qualify them. So if they were searching for a mortgage broker in Houston and they were browsing on Facebook the next hour we would have an ad on Facebook targeting that buyer. Basically stalking that person ethically on the internet through digital advertising. This process now results in amazing results.
