Local Enterprise Office Westmeath serves as a 'first stop shop', providing entrepreneurs in Westmeath with advice on starting and growing a small business, high-quality business training and financial support. Local Enterprise Office Westmeath was established in 2014 and was previously known as Westmeath County Enterprise Board Ltd. which was established in 1993 to develop and support new and existing enterprises in County Westmeath. . Whether you are a new or existing business, we may be able to provide support to you. The focus of our work is with businesses who employ 10 or less employees, and we can support businesses in every sector, including manufacturing, international trade, design and craft, services, retail, childcare and food production. The core supports provided by Westmeath Local Enterprise Office include : Financial Assistance (Eligible Categories only) Provision of Business Information and Advice Business Training Encouraging Enterprise Development in County Westmeath In addition to these core supports, we have also assisted businesses with trade show costs, website development, new product development and research, specialised mentoring, marketing, recruitment, re-location, advice on expansion, networking and sales development. Each year, approximately 1000 people avail of our training courses on a range of business topics.   • GradStart supports local businesses to attract and recruit graduates. The aim is to assist companies to scale and grow their businesses through the introduction of good graduate talent to deliver clearly defined projects. GradStart will support LEO companies with ambitious growth plans to employ one graduate on a rolling basis for a 2-year contract duration. Graduates will have a minimum Level 6 qualification on the National Vocational Qualifications Framework or equivalent.
