Emerging science continues to validate how controlled stressors - like strategic fasting periods - can activate our body's natural repair and resilience mechanisms. This biological principle, known as hormesis, is reshaping our understanding of metabolic health. A new study in the Journal of Translational Medicine adds to this growing evidence. When women combined time-restricted eating with exercise, they saw enhanced improvements in: - Weight management - Blood pressure regulation - Blood sugar control - Body composition Why This Matters: Our bodies are remarkably adaptive, responding to mild stressors by becoming more resilient. This evolutionary mechanism, when properly leveraged through evidence-based nutrition technologies like the Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD), may help optimize our natural cellular repair processes and support healthy aging. As research advances, we're seeing increased interest in structured, science-backed approaches that work with our body's natural rhythms to enhance metabolic health and longevity. #WomensHealth #MetabolicHealth #NutritionScience #HealthyAging #Research #TimeRestrictedEating

Our L-Nutra team has been here in Orlando for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) conference, where the focus is all about empowering individuals with the knowledge and resources to safeguard their health and tackle chronic diseases. Over the past few days, we’ve had the privilege of connecting with thousands of inspiring healthcare practitioners who are making significant impacts in their communities. Together, we've explored how L-Nutra programs and products can amplify this impact through science-backed nutrition solutions designed to support a healthy lifespan and potentially delay or prevent chronic conditions like obesity, metabolic disorders, and type 2 diabetes through our patented nutrition technology solutions. Members of our team, including William Hsu, MD and Ashley Bizzell RD, LDN, CDCES, presented on how our medical division, L-Nutra Health, is advancing the management—and potential reversal—of type 2 diabetes and other metabolic conditions through comprehensive programs and the personalized use of a low-glycemic Fasting Mimicking Diet. We’re proud to be at the forefront of medical nutrition, creating sustainable health solutions. Today is the last day—if you’re attending ACLM and haven’t yet stopped by our booth, please come say hello! We’d love to see you. A milestone in nutrition science education and application! Yesterday marked our first live CME presentation on Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD) technology at the Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians 2024 Annual Scientific Symposium. Our very own, William Hsu, MD, explored the science behind FMD’s impact on autophagy, cellular rejuvenation, and its emerging role in driving diabetes remission and metabolic health improvements. With promising results from multiple studies, FMD, when used as part of a comprehensive program, shows potential in supporting remission and regression of type 2 diabetes, obesity, and other metabolic diseases by targeting root pathophysiology. >>L-Nutra Health What stood out? Nearly all 200+ attending physicians indicated this was their first in-depth exposure to FMD science—revealing both the innovation in this field and the opportunity to advance nutrition education in mainstream medicine. Many described the scientific evidence as "mind-blowing." The enthusiasm from family physicians underscores a crucial insight: while nutrition science continues to advance rapidly, there's still significant opportunity to bridge the knowledge gap between breakthrough research and clinical practice. Key reflections: - Growing physician interest in evidence-based nutritional interventions - Rising recognition of nutrition's therapeutic potential in diabetes care and mainstream medicine - Clear appetite for continuing education on innovative nutritional approaches We're honored to contribute to medical education and grateful to the Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians for this opportunity to share the latest developments in nutrition science. Looking forward to more opportunities to advance evidence-based nutritional approaches in healthcare. #nutritionscience #fastingmimickingdiet #diabetes #CME #evidencebasedmedicine #metabolicdiseases #nutrition

Today, we released an economic evaluation study in the prestigious journal ‘Value in Health’ which modeled the potential cost savings benefits from our Diabetes Remission and Regression Program (DRRP), a program within our medical division, L-Nutra Health. The DRRP is a 12-month program that utilizes the patented nutrition technology of a low-glycemic Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD) formulation in tandem with personalized Dietetic guidance and medical oversight for comprehensive type 2 diabetes management. This new study demonstrates its potential to significantly improve the cost of diabetes management and care. The model showed that over a 10-year period, the DRRP resulted in:a net monetary savings of $41,613 for patients who take two or more medications (a group in which 60% of those with type 2 diabetes fall). Researchers also assessed quality-adjusted life years (QUALYs) finding major gains in health-related quality of life due to fewer medical interventions and a lower incidence of diabetes-related complications. The model evaluated in this study was developed by reviewing data from studies investigating FMDs, most notably a recent study published in Diabetologia. This study has shown: 11.3% fewer diabetes complications 67.2% less overall diabetes medication use 45.0% fewer hypoglycemia events What does this mean? Our DRRP program has been shown to not only improve health outcomes but may also significantly reduce healthcare costs. This modeling study provides strong evidence to suggest that nutrition-based interventions like our FMD can be a cost-effective, first-line strategy in managing type 2 diabetes. At a time when GLP-1 medications are costing the healthcare system up to $15,000 annually per patient, our program offers a more sustainable and cost-effective approach that achieves significant health outcomes without the ongoing medication costs. As pioneers in nutri-technology, we're committed to developing science-backed solutions that enhance health and longevity. This study marks a crucial step towards integrating innovative nutritional approaches into standard diabetes care. The full study is now available online. We invite healthcare professionals, policymakers, and anyone interested in the future of diabetes management to explore these results through the link below! https://bit.ly/4f5MFAo L-Nutra Health

Breast cancer affects millions worldwide, with over 2 million new cases diagnosed in 2020 alone [1]. As the healthcare industry evolves, nutrition is emerging as a powerful tool in cancer care. At L-Nutra, we're continuing to explore how Fasting Mimicking Diets (FMDs) might complement traditional treatments for hormone receptor-positive breast cancer, which accounts for about 70% of cases [2]. Our existing research suggests that FMDs could: - Support the efficacy of certain traditional breast cancer treatments - Assist in the sustainability of certain treatments? - Potentially mitigate the severity of common side effects of treatment [3] These findings are part of a growing trend in oncology. More researchers are understanding the impact of nutrition and investigating how it can support cancer treatment and improve patient outcomes [4]. Why it matters: As healthcare moves towards more personalized approaches, combining nutrition strategies with standard treatments could open new possibilities for patients and providers alike. As we observe Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it's exciting to see how far we've come and the potential that lies ahead. How do you see nutrition integrating into the future of cancer care? Ever wondered about the science behind the 5-day Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD)? Each day serves a specific purpose, carefully designed to optimize your body's rejuvenation processes. Let's break down the journey: Day 1: Transition - Your body begins to shift, preparing for the fasting state ahead. Day 2: Ketosis Activation - Fat-burning mode initiates while preserving muscle mass. Day 3: Autophagy Initiation - Cellular cleanup mechanisms kick in, a crucial step in rejuvenation. Days 4-5: Deep Cellular Renewal - Rejuvenation processes are optimized, potentially supporting overall health and longevity. This intentional progression is what makes the FMD unique. Each day builds on the previous, guiding your body through the beneficial stages of a prolonged fast - all while providing essential nutrients. Which day of the FMD do you feel the best in your body? Or if you haven't tried it yet, which day are you most excited to experience? Share your thoughts in the comments!
