This year's Valentine's Day Go Red for Women, Love Your Heart - Heart Healthy Luncheon, with Khaled Mansour, M.D., FACC, Interventional Cardiologist, with Lake Norman Medical Group, as featured presenter was not only informational but also heartwarming with personal testimonials shared by several community members in attendance, including one shared by a former patient of Dr. Mansour's who credits him, along with the care provided at the hospital, for saving her life. With heart disease as the number one leading cause of death in women, prioritizing a heart healthy lifestyle was the key takeaway from Dr. Mansour's presentation. In addition to the informative program, a delicious heart healthy meal was prepared for the event by the hospital's Nutrition Services team.
