Thank you to those of you who have supported and followed us so far. Through the process of setting up this podcast, each of our members has gained much experience, knowledge, support, and connection to the insurance industry. With the level of support that this community has provided, we believe it is important and respectful to be open and honest on our progress, both positive and less so. While our group is working daily to bring our audience a professional podcast, we have from the beginning described this project as "follow us on our journey." To that point, we are not (yet) professional podcasters, we are learning as we go in this entrepreneurial?venture. We have run into slight roadblocks to produce our first few episodes- nothing to deter us from our project, but of enough significance?to delay us for the last two months. We believe we have moved past these roadblocks and look forward to the following weeks where we are able to ramp our efforts back up. We thank you for your continued support and can't wait to showcase the next part of our journey, starting with an announcement tomorrow!

Huge steps forward in our project! We are proud to announce that we have filmed our first podcast episode with our first guest Gia Diep. This 20-minute segment with Gia starts a series of episodes on Commercial Property Insurance, where we will be creating a foundation for those starting to learn about commercial lines. In this episode, we go over the basics of Commercial Property with one overall theme- How important is it that you get the right coverage? With this in mind, we talk about the balance between cost and coverage, insuring to value, deductibles, limits, and more. We are now in the process of editing, and are very excited to release this episode soon. We are incredibly grateful to Gia for taking the time to talk to us, as well as to Luciano Guarino and Stefon Greene, representing LCTV, for filming this production. Lastly, we would like to thank everyone joining us on this journey. We have gained followers at every level of the insurance industry, the support has been tremendous and inspiring. Meet the team of the LMI POD, our Vice President of Operations, Sean Stephenson! Sean is a rising Sophomore at Le Moyne College's Madden College of Business & Economics at Le Moyne. He is Dual Majoring in Risk Management & Insurance and Finance. Sean is currently interning at Haylor, Freyer & Coon, An Alera Group Company, learning in the core departments of Commercial, Personal, and Employee Benefits. He is passionate about the vast commercial insurance industry and the analytical side of insurance. Along with his passions in the insurance industry, Sean is interested in developing leadership and fostering collaboration in the modern business world. When Sean is not working, he enjoys basketball, among other fitness activities, and learning new things.

One of our VP's, Gerardo Gomez, in the intern spotlight for Utica National Insurance Group!

Meet the team of the LMI POD, our Vice President of Engagement and Treasurer, Gerardo Gomez! Jet is a Sophomore Dual Majoring in Risk Management and Insurance and Finance at the Madden College of Business & Economics at Le Moyne. Jet is currently participating in his third internship at Utica National Insurance Group as an underwriting intern. He is the first freshman they have ever brought on as an Intern, he is currently working in their Commercial Auto Division. Before this summer, Jet interned at The Terzolo Financial Group as a Tax Intern, assisting on over 1,200 tax returns in clerical work and tax preparation. During high school, Jet worked at Amalfi Jets Charitable Foundation, where he worked on fundraising for underserved youth. During his time there, the interns raised over $200,000. When Jet isn't working or studying, he enjoys golfing, boxing, reading, and helping his community.

This Sunday, LMI POD took a huge step forward as we prepare to record and release our first podcast episode, highlighting technical commercial insurance in a new light. This weekend, Kenneth Robinson, Gerardo Gomez, and Sean Stephenson met with LCTV to perform a trial run of the podcast. We would like to extend our gratitude for LCTV, specifically to Luciano Guarino, our point person with LCTV, to Stefon Greene who helps oversee the LCTV, and to Aidan Mingoia Secretary of LCTV for traveling to Le Moyne College to shoot with us this weekend. We were blown away by the quality and professionalism of LCTV, and would recommend them to anyone looking to expand their creative content. This was a huge step forward for the group, and we are taking more steps this week to achieve our goal of releasing our first episode soon, stay tuned!
