It’s #FunFactFriday! This week, we’re featuring our marketing coordinator, Lexi Mellott. At work, Lexi supports LMD's outreach and communications. But after hours, Lexi is starring in the Little Theater of Alexandria’s sold-out show Jekyll and Hyde as Lucy Harris! Lexi has been involved with the performing arts most of her life, throughout high school and college, and now in community theatre shows in the area. Some of her favorite past shows include Rent, Tuck Everlasting, Beauty and the Beast, and Legally Blonde. "It's a beautiful form of artistic collaboration. It's a joy when so many creatives come together, bringing their talents to tell a story! Theatre is a wonderful way to step away from my laptop and be creative with community," says Lexi. "This art form is particularly special because it is new every time. The audience and the performers share a unique experience with every single show, and there is magic in how everyone in the theater experiences that story together. I adore every aspect of the creative process in bringing these stories to life on stage!"
