The Little Lighthouse Foundation is a registered 501c3 Nonprofit Corporation that assists children and their families in South Florida who struggle with educational, financial, and medical hardships. This support is derived from recruiting and educating passionate, caring, socially conscious South Floridians, and then deploying them throughout Little Lighthouse Foundation programming and beneficiary charities. In addition, Little Lighthouse Foundation raises monies to provide direct support to children and their families within its mission. Through a new paradigm of fundraising and awareness, Little Lighthouse Foundation financially supports its own programming and numerous partner organizations throughout South Florida, along with dispatching hundreds of volunteers who donate their time and hearts.

Little Lighthouse Foundation’s Hearts & Stars Gala 2025: Carnaval do Brasil On March 15, 2025, the Little Lighthouse Foundation’s Hearts & Stars Gala 2025: Carnaval do Brasil transformed Jungle Plaza into a vibrant celebration of philanthropy and culture. Hosted by Emmy-winning Jenise Fernandez, the event featured an electrifying live performance by Ja Rule and brought together 1,200+ guests. Guests danced beneath the Feira Tent and enjoyed handcrafted cocktails from Nossa Caipirinha Lounge while Pietro’s pulsating beats kept the energy high. Guests indulged in gourmet bites from top South Florida restaurants, including: Red the Steakhouse STK Steakhouse Paperfish Pubbelly Sushi Andrés Carne de Res Dolce Mio Casa Matilda Joey’s Wynwood Cafe Sagrado Cafe Oakberry Acai Delicious Catering B&B Cappuccino VIP guests also enjoyed luxurious Calvisius Caviar by Tita Italia. The event featured a top-shelf open bar with Casamigos, Amber & Opal Whiskey, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Penelope Bourbon, Chinola, Askur Gin, Lagoon Bay, The Tank Brewing Co., Tita Italia wines & sparkling selections, LaCroix, and Icelandic water. The night celebrated Miami Heat legend Udonis Haslem with LLF’s Shining Light Award and honored Renee Cascarina as Volunteer of the Year. Guests also had a chance to win over $55,000 in exclusive raffle prizes, including Hard Rock Bet’s Florida Sports & Pearl Jam Packages and a Miami Lifestyle Package. Miami-Dade County Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins officially declared March 15, 2025, as Little Lighthouse Foundation Day in Miami-Dade County. Special recognition was given to Honorary Gala Chairs Harley Lippman and Daniel Krizek for their leadership and generosity.
