Just when you thought the #UPS fee hikes were over, the shipping giant has made more changes, including a new #surcharge and an update to last week’s announcement. Here’s a breakdown of all the most recent UPS changes: ???Fuel Surcharge Increases (Went into effect on March 10, 2025) ? Fuel surcharges for U.S. Ground Domestic, UPS SurePost, and U.S. Domestic Air services will increase by 50 basis points (0.50%.) These surcharges are tied to fluctuating fuel prices, which?will?raise your shipping costs. ???*NEW* Paper Commercial Invoice Services Surcharge (Effective March 17, 2025)? ? A $10 fee will be applied to shipments that do not provide the commercial invoice digitally via UPS’ Paperless Invoice services. ? ???Print Invoice Fee (Effective March 31, 2025) ? A $5 fee will apply to every printed invoice copy sent to shippers or payors. ???Payment Fee Updates (Effective March 31, 2025) ? Payments by check or wire transfer will incur a $25 fee per transaction (ACH payments are exempt). ? Late payment fees will increase from 8% to 9.9%. ???*NEW* Payment Processing Fee Update: (Now Effective May 19, 2025)? ? A 2% fee will now apply to all invoice charges (not just shipping costs).
