Winter's almost over, did you know? Before we bid adieu to the quiet season and welcome in the chatter of spring, the LIVSN team made the most of this week. Our marketing lead, Kelsey, returned from her travels across the pond and from @nomanslandfilmfestival in Denver where she's been refreshed with the fuel of badass outdoor women's energies. Our product team returned from Vietnam, solidifying our great relationships with our factory partners and making big steps forward in quality control, production, code of conduct, and supply chain improvements. Do you have a piece from our new line yet? If so, please give it a review! The Weather is doing really, really pleasant things over here in the Ozarks. We're making big progress on our new office renovation and starting to move. We expect to have a grand opening as early as this May! We make durable, sustainable, & versatile clothing that encourages you to wear it longer and spend more time outdoors.
关于我们
LIVSN uses natural and technical materials to create sustainable, high-quality outdoor clothing with classic styling and a modern fit. Our passion is for the outdoors and our interest is in high quality clothing. We love finding good fabric and admiring the hand, the weight, and the texture. The story of the material and what it can do inspires us to create clothing as dynamic as the fabric. The name LIVSN comes from the Swedish word "livsnjutare," which roughly translates to "one who loves life deeply; an enjoyer of life." We know we won't regret more time outside - or with friends - or with family. Abraham Maslow's famous Hierarchy of Needs lists clothing among the physiological needs to meet before moving on towards the ultimate goal of self-actualization. If clothing is something that we must have, then we believe it should perform well, look good, be ethically made, environmentally friendly - and it should last. We design our clothing to be dynamic, made with naturally technical materials, and have a subdued style. We're not out to make the "best" shirt or the "most advanced" jacket in the world. We want to make good clothing, we want to make it with tried and true methods, and we want to make it with high quality materials and modern fits. We'll be officially launching in late 2018, but will have plenty to share before then. Please follow along on our journey. We’ve made it to March, and with just a few weeks left in winter, the signs of spring are everywhere. Growth buds on trees, warmer temperatures, and longer days offer little reminders of what’s to come. These changes don’t happen all at once—they unfold in steady progression, though not always in a straight line. A string of warm, springlike days might be followed by a sharp return to winter, a pattern that mirrors personal growth: progress, setback, adjustment, and forward again. ? Spring is a season of stirring before sprouting, a time when dormancy awakens and people stretch their limbs, eager to spend more time outside. It’s a natural moment to do more of what we love, to push for expansion, while staying connected to the roots that got us here in the first place. ? At LIVSN, we think about this often—how things are built, how they last, and how they evolve. Quality isn’t just about fabric, features, or construction; it’s about allowing things to take shape naturally, adapting in response to real needs. We refine what’s proven, then reach a little further with each new line. ? Our latest Creek Shirt embodies this idea. It’s made with Seawool?, a fabric derived from recycled ocean buoys and plastic bottles. We first introduced Seawool? in a cotton blend for the Benchmark Field Flannel, but we loved its feel and performance so much that we reimagined it in a new way. The Ripstop version found in the Creek Shirt is ultra-light, subtly featured, and built for long days beneath a hot sun—ideally, near a cool body of water. ? Whether it’s fine-tuning a product, refining a skill, or simply embracing a new season, progress doesn’t have to be instant to be meaningful. ? So as the days lengthen and the air shifts, we invite you to take a moment to notice the small changes—inside and out—and think about what’s stirring in you. - Written by Brian O'Dea, Community Manager

"If you started something new in 2025, this is about when the first wall appears. The initial excitement fades, and what’s left is the slow, steady grind—if you choose to stick with it. But there’s something beautiful about being a beginner. It’s a chance to experiment, play, and even laugh at ourselves. While it’s tempting to stay in familiar, comfortable lanes, stepping into something new comes with no expectations—and that openness creates all kinds of possibilities. Recently, I’ve made an honest attempt to boulder more frequently. Despite working in the outdoor industry for nearly a decade, I had mostly watched from the sidelines. Just squeezing into the shoes was an experience in itself, and deciphering lingo like "beta spraying" and "jugs" felt like learning a new language. Finishing a route is undeniably satisfying, but what surprised me most was the camaraderie—the unexpected encouragement from both friends and strangers. People love sharing their passions, and that kind of support can be the extra push needed to get through growing pains and keep going when progress slows after those first quick advancements. Embracing a beginner’s mindset means accepting where we struggle, celebrating small wins, and forming connections with those already deep in the game. It reminds us that progress isn’t just about getting better—it’s about staying open, curious, and engaged in the process." written by Brian, LIVSN Community Manager ----- Speaking of stepping into something new -- our Spring 25 line drops in just 48 hours. We think you're going to really, really love what you see. Get notified our launch here: https://lnkd.in/gTzBRSYa

It was another snowy week in LIVSN land with most of the team staying at home, but here’s what we did aside from sledding: We’re putting the final bells and whistles on the backend of our soon-to-debut Spring and Summer line! Stay tuned for breakdowns, product videos and more. Speaking of which, the first round of this inventory is on its way to our amazing retailers! Our Operations and Community team met to make discuss fulfillment strategy. Our warehouse and carriers took a break through the worst of the weather, are now back up and running, but expect some slight delay from this and the sale backlog. Our Marketing Maestra Kelsey prepares to hop the pond to London for a week of well deserved rest and exploration and has promised to return with a convincing accent. Song of the week is “Why” by @puracocoo, an incredibly talented local artist hailing from Springdale, Arkansas.
