It’s no secret that social media has heightened our urge to compare ourselves to others. Seeing a colleague's promotion, a client's achievements, or a friend's lavish vacation makes it easy to slip into envy mode. But, comparison breeds jealousy and resentment, emotions that have no place where love thrives. Paul urges us to step away from this exhausting cycle and concentrate on our own unique journey instead. Challenge yourself with these questions: 1. How often do you compare myself to others? In what ways? 2. How can you take pride in your growth without boasting? This balance acknowledges God's work in you while staying humble. 3. What areas of your life require an envy check? Should I appreciate my current position more instead of seeking new opportunities online? Could spending time with my kids remind me of their wonderful qualities instead of focusing on their quirks? Take pride and gratitude in the life and the people God has prepared for you! Let’s pray: God, guide me in turning away from envy. Help me to celebrate others' successes with genuine joy and to find peace in the unique life You have blessed me with.

How you respond to adversity reveals what you truly believe. A lot of people say, 'I believe in Jesus, I love God,' but when a challenge comes, that’s when your faith is put to the test. By the way, God's goal for all of His children is that we get an A on the test! God’s not down on you. He's not punishing you—He’s refining you. In a fallen world, trials are gonna happen. His goal is for you to grow stronger. So, when trials come, remember: 'Consider it all joy,' because the testing of your faith is producing endurance. I invite you to join me in the A.R.T. of Survival Daily Discipleship challenge, a 10-day study that will help you learn God's blueprint for facing adversity. https://lnkd.in/gm-vVQTe

Sometimes we wonder why life is so tough, but the truth is, God’s goal isn’t to make life comfortable—it’s to shape us into the people He’s called us to be. Trials and challenges build character, and God uses them to grow us. So lean into the process and trust Him. If you’re going through a challenge right now and wondering how to move forward, I you to read this article about how to grow stronger and trust God through adversity: https://lnkd.in/gM8JvyJe

God blesses us so that we can bless others, and nowhere is this more evident than in how we handle our money. Imagine a stream: its waters flow freely, nourishing everything in its path. When you see your money like this, you understand that it comes from God, and it moves through you to bless others. Trust grows, knowing that as you give, more will come. Now think of a dam. It holds back water, keeping it under control—until the pressure builds. The weight of debt and stress eventually cracks it, and the flood brings chaos. God may allow your dam to break, not to punish, but to invite you into the freedom of living generously, as a stream. Want to get a biblical perspective on money and stewardship? I know God’s love is mine, just as I am—even in my weakest, messiest moments. It’s not that He wants me to stay there, but His love for me doesn’t change whether I’m in the valley or on the mountaintop. I am loved, and so are you. Did someone come to mind who needs to hear this? I encourage you to share this truth with them today—it might be exactly what they need.

Even on His busiest days in ministry, Jesus stayed connected to his Father at all times. In the Gospels, we see Him going away to be alone, to pray, to commune with His Father in heaven. If Jesus took the time and made the effort to abide in His Father, how much more do we need to focus on abiding in our Father? I think how we respond to this question depends on how much we believe in this statement: "Apart from Him, we can do nothing of lasting value." Take stock and answer these questions before you begin the week: 1. In what areas of your business are you relying on your own strength or wisdom instead of seeking Jesus’ guidance? 2. What kind of "fruit" is your business currently producing? Is it fruit that reflects the values of the Kingdom of God, such as love, integrity, and generosity? How can abiding in Jesus help you produce more of this fruit? 3. How consistent is your connection with Jesus? Do you prioritize time with Him in prayer and in His Word? What changes can you make to ensure that your relationship with Jesus remains strong and vibrant, even in the busyness of your work? Remember that your success doesn’t come from your abilities alone but from your relationship with Jesus. Abide in Him, and watch how He empowers you to lead with wisdom, integrity, and purpose!

You've seen people who spend money as soon as they get it, and others who save every penny. Which way is right? What is God’s perspective? God calls us to stewardship, recognizing our money as a gift from Him. When you save, you honor God by exercising wisdom and preparing for the future. When you spend, you honor God by using resources to meet needs and enjoy His blessings. When you give, you honor God by sharing His provision with others and investing in His Kingdom. A simple way to begin learning about Biblical stewardship is to honor God with the first fruits of every paycheck. Proverbs 3:9-10 teaches that our wealth is ultimately God's, and we are merely His stewards. If you're ready to learn how to manage your money in a way that honors God (and teach your kids to do the same), give this a read: https://lnkd.in/gS7743wW

I’ve been there—rushing through life, tackling one task after another, thinking, I’ve got this. But here’s the reality: when we don’t pause to seek God’s wisdom and guidance, we’re telling Him we don’t need His help. That’s pride, plain and simple. True humility means coming to God daily, admitting we don’t have all the answers, and asking Him to guide us through the decisions, challenges, and relationships we face. God gives grace to the humble. Let’s tap into His supernatural strength by making prayer a priority. Want to go deeper in your prayer life?
