LiveOnNY was deeply touched by the incredible turnout at the Victoria's Life 5K at Wolfe's Pond Park. Over 100 runners and walkers came together to honor the memory of Victoria McDonnell and support the LiveOnNY Foundation. A big thank you to Stony Brook University?and the Center for Prevention and Outreach for partnering with LiveOnNY?for Organ Donor Day on campus. It was great day of educating more than 200 students and many registered to be donors . Thank you to donor family James Mateiko?and my colleague Lauren Shields?for supporting me at this event.?

I was honored to attend the Brittany McCarthy 5k event in Staten Island. LiveOnNY?in collaboration with the Bee Foundation we honored the life of donor hero Brittany McCarthy who wanted to pursue a career in healthcare to make a difference. Brittany saved the lives of many through organ and tissue donation. Special thanks to Donna Milone and Staten Island TSO for supporting our community outreach efforts in Staten Island.?
