The Diwali festivities have commenced, and LiveOnNY was honored to join the India Center of Westchester in celebration! ?? What an Amazing Day of Learning and Fun at Episcopal Health Services, Inc. ! ?? We recently hosted a special rounding event in partnership with LiveOnNY, where our team members participated in a dynamic "Wheel of Fortune" game focused on organ donation awareness! This engaging event combined important education with the excitement of winning prizes. As our team members answered questions about organ donation, they had the chance to spin the wheel for fantastic rewards! ???? Not only did we have a great time, but we also deepened our understanding of how organ donation can transform lives. Here are a few key takeaways: ? Over 7,000 individuals are currently on the organ transplant waiting list in New York. ? Each donor can save up to 8 lives through organ donation and up to 75 lives through tissue donation. ? Organ Donation Events can lead to increased awareness and support. A huge thank you to Live On NY for their collaboration and dedication to this crucial cause. Together, we’re not only raising awareness but also inspiring each other to be advocates for organ donation. Let’s keep the momentum going!
