It's time to go all in -- commit yourself, show up fully and decide to play ball. The worst thing that can happen is you strike out. But guess what? In swinging the bat, you learn how to swing the bat. And if you swing that bat often enough, even if you miss over and over and again, eventually, you're going to hit that ball. You're going to get on base. You might even knock it out of the park. And the more you do something, the more comfortable it will feel. So, make the commitment NOW and do it over the long term. It's?#FlashbackFriday?time! I want to share what happened when I offered a 1:1 private coaching upsell to students in my Message to Money course. I launched Message to Money in 2012 and sold it for 4 years... A couple years in, I decided to experiment with offering a 1:1 Coaching Package to my Message to Money graduates... I loved the group coaching I was doing in the program and wanted to give them a way to continue working with me once they were done with the program... So I sent out a SINGLE EMAIL to the 60 students who had graduated from the program and what happened next shocked me! The subject line was: [M2M] Would 1-on-1 time with me be valuable? The email ended with a super specific call to action -- to schedule a call with me to discuss coaching together -- and 7% of the recipients clicked the link. 7% of 60 isn't a lot -- just 4 students -- but that 7% quickly turned into $21,999! That's when I discovered the power of having a back-end offer... A back-end offer is the second, third or fourth thing someone buys from you. It's an opportunity someone usually only sees after they complete their initial engagement with you. Studies show that your existing customers are 12 times more likely to buy from you than someone who hasn’t bought from you before. Repeat sales are also 16x more profitable than first time purchases. That means that once you get a client -- you want to keep them engaged with you through additional offers. I didn't really understand that when I first launched Message to Money and my goal was to give my students absolutely everything they needed to build their online business. That's still my goal today! However, what I've learned from coaching almost 16K students is that most people need additional support to get there... Most people can't take a single 12-week online course that sets them up for the rest of their lives! PLUS, when it comes to business, you can always go deeper.
