Because food waste has a tremendous impact on our planet, our economy, and our people?? ?? 1/3 of all food is lost or wasted between farm and fork. ?? 8-10% of global GHG emissions come from food waste. ?? Food loss costs the global economy $1 trillion USD every year. ?? Just 1/4 of wasted food could feed 795 million people who go hungry daily.
