Throughout the month of December, Little Rapids Corporation came together to make a difference through the Adopt-A-Family program. Across our three divisions, we were able to sponsor 5 families in Brown and Shawano Counties, providing much needed cheer and support during this season. For Halloween, our team at Larsen Road (Graham Professional and Corporate) made a very fun donation to the Golden House in Green Bay. The Golden House provides safety and support for victims of domestic abuse while leading efforts to end domestic violence in Brown County. Through a heartwarming initiative, our associates nominated a child in their life, and in turn, we donated goodie bags to the children celebrating at Golden House! In October, two amazing crews from Shawano Specialty Papers dedicated a day to making a difference with Habitat for Humanity - Wolf River Region! One team worked hard hanging sheeting around the entire house, while the other took on the task of installing Tyvek and assisting with the trusses. This 4-bedroom home is being built for a single mother and her four children, who are currently living in a cramped 2-bedroom apartment. In celebration of National Pet Month in May, the Shawano Specialty Papers' Culture Club initiated a friendly challenge between crews and departments to collect much needed items to donate to Shawano Humane Society. In total, 1,470 pounds were collected between 6 groups within the business. We are so proud to partner with the Humane Society and of our associates who Do Great Things for our furry friends who need a forever home!
