In celebration of National Adoption Month, Tatiana Rogers, a Permanency Specialist at Little City, shares her passion for creating brighter futures: "I have had the pleasure of serving families with Little City for two years. My favorite part about the work that I do is getting the chance to provide children with forever families. It bring me joy to help bridge the gap between foster care and forever families for these beautiful children who deserve nothing but love and dedication."

Group home conversions are redefining assisted living in suburban neighborhoods, creating more personalized and community-focused options for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Little City is excited to share the award of $3,450.00 from the Bloomingdale Township Mental Health Board for the 2025/2026 fiscal year. It’s National Adoption Month! At Little City, we’re proud to celebrate the dedicated individuals who make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families. Da’Sia Blackmon, Permanency Specialist, shares what her role means to her: “Permanency has been the most rewarding experience. Not only have I had the privilege of helping families achieve permanency, but I’ve also found a role that feels like home to me. I love receiving emails about subsidy approvals because it means I’ve played a part in brightening a child’s day with that exciting news. Being a part of Little City’s permanency team is truly fulfilling, and I’m excited to continue serving the youth in our care.”
